Built with stylized assets from an established 3D studio, our K53 simulator offers a visually polished, lightweight environment. This distraction-free design ensures smooth performance across any hardware essentially , helping schools and learners focus fully on critical road observations.

Guided by Southern African Development Community (SADC) standards, our simulator is being built to programmatically enforce official K53 road rules and testing protocols. A precise alignment that ensures schools and learners practice exact regional licensing requirements, guaranteeing every observation and maneuver prepares them to pass the official test.
This demonstration showcases the K53 Simulator being operated entirely through a standard computer keyboard. On this demo, the clutch control is configured to automatic for simplified handling since keyboard has no analog ability, while gears are manually selected on the fly using the 1, 2, and 3 number keys. Stalling was also diabled which is why the techometer could plummet to 0 RPM and still rise after. But Gamepads and steering + pedals allow realistic clutching with engine stalling.

This custom parking brake consists of a real vehicle lever and ratchet system. It then gets custom fitted with a hall-effect sensor that communicates its analog/progressive position (useful for hill starts) to a little brain board powered by the 32u4 chip – which then sends it to the computer running the K53 Simulator virtual vehicle.
